What services does Divine Healing & Nurturing Therapy offer?
We offer a range of therapeutic services, including individual therapy, trauma therapy (EMDR), multidisciplinary support, and mental health advocacy. Our practice is affirming of LGBTQIA+ individuals, BIPOC, and neurodivergent clients.
What is EMDR therapy?
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a psychotherapy technique designed to help individuals process and heal from traumatic memories. It can reduce emotional distress associated with trauma, anxiety, PTSD, and other related issues.
How do I schedule a session?
Current clients can log onto their online client portal and request an appointment time to be approved by their therapist. New clients can schedule a free phone consult by clicking the button at the bottom of this page.
Do you offer virtual therapy sessions?
Yes, all our sessions are currently conducted virtually to ensure accessibility and convenience for clients. We do not offer in-person services at this time.
Are your services affirming of LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent individuals?
Absolutely! Divine Healing & Nurturing Therapy is dedicated to providing a safe, inclusive, and affirming environment for LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent individuals. We embrace diverse identities and experiences in our therapeutic approach.
Where is your practice located?
Although we are based in Gwinnett County, GA, our services are entirely virtual, allowing us to serve clients from across Georgia.
Who can benefit from your services?
Our services are open to individuals and teens from all walks of life. We specialize in trauma-informed care and provide support for those dealing with anxiety, depression, school-related issues, life transitions, and trauma.
What are your credentials and qualifications?
Dionne Williams, the owner of Divine Healing & Nurturing Therapy, is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), certified school social worker, and EMDR-trained clinician. She has extensive experience working with individuals facing trauma, anxiety, and other emotional challenges.
What insurance do you accept?
We are considered an out-of-network provider, which means that we do not accept insurance, and all of our clients are self-pay. We don’t provide superbills for reimbursement either. However, we do accept Health Savings Accounts (HSA) cards and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) cards in addition to standard debit/credit cards. We do not accept cash, checks, or money orders. If you can’t afford our standard fees, we offer reduced fees for eligible clients who apply. Inquire about this option with your therapist during your free phone consultation.
Can I cancel or reschedule my appointment?
Yes, we understand that schedules can change. We ask that you provide at least a 24-hour notice for cancellations or rescheduling to avoid any fees.
How long are therapy sessions?
Standard therapy sessions are typically 50 to 60 minutes long. Longer sessions can be requested by clients, and the fee can be adjusted accordingly. If you are interested in additional time for your sessions, please talk with your therapist.
What is the cost of a session?
Fees vary depending on the type of service but range between $75-160, not including the standard $175 fee for an intake appointment, which all new clients pay to get started. Is therapy confidential?
Yes, your privacy and confidentiality are our top priorities. We adhere to all professional standards of practice, including HIPAA compliance, to ensure your information is protected.
